Beach Hut.

Jersey Maritime Museum. 2014.

Design and production of a post-war Beach Hut sited inside the Jersey Maritime Museum. The beach hut was fitted out to accommodate a series of small-scale automata created by various artists forming interactive displays of various leisure activities.

Due to the economic climate at the time, these huts tended to be constructed from any available materials to hand. Using this philosophy, the design evolved and was led to some extent by the recycling of interesting materials lying in and around the workshop.
