Designer, Engineer, Craftsman, Producer, Creator, Builder, Fabricator, Wizard! Over the years Andy has been described as all of these, and others. Ask his partner and he is the man that can solve things. The Fixer. For every problem there is a solution. Nothing is impossible. If the process or technique does not exist - he'll develop a new one.
From a young age Andy worked alongside his dad Geoff, learning his craft, working within strict tolerances and millimetre precision to achieve high quality results. Anyone who has ever worked with him will attest to his attention to detail and insistence on the highest of standards.
Before managing the build of Blackpool’s Comedy Carpet - one of the largest pieces of public art in the UK - Andy honed his skills and knowledge in industry covering: aerospace, ship-repairs and construction. He went on to study design at the Hull School of Architecture before forming a Design & Build business with his partner in 2004.

Based in the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds we design, engineer and build. We work with a variety of materials, taking concepts from paper to production, using diverse techniques to achieve outstanding results. We build art, interiors, furniture, bespoke structures - the list is endless. We work with artists, architects, designers and craftspeople and are accomplished in managing large-scale complex projects.
